Apologies again for the delay with this article, today we have the talented spriter and pixel artist, zerudez!

:iconclefairykid: How did you get started in Pixel Art? Was it your first medium or did you work with something different before discovering it?

:iconzerudez: Hmm, well Pokémon got me into Pixel art. It looks fun and so I tried it out. Didn't really like it at first because it was hard ;^; But I eventually got the hang of it and got more interested in pixel work/art. I worked with other digital art before testing out pixel art. I'm glad I experimented with it! ^^

:iconclefairykid: What is the thing you love the most about Pixel Art? What makes it stand out from other art mediums for you?

:iconzerudez: There's just something about pixel art that's so... awesome. I don't know.. it's just really cool that you can create these fantastic images, big and small, from pixels. It stands out because it's different then what I work with. I find it fun to work with.

:iconclefairykid: How long have you been working in Pixel Art? Do you feel like it's hard to learn or relatively easy to pick up or somewhere in between?

:iconzerudez: I've been working with pixel art for.. about 2-3 years. It's hard at first but it gets easy to pick up. Anyone can do it.

:iconclefairykid: What is one of your favourite pixel artworks that inspires you? Can you explain what makes it so inspirational?

:iconzerudez:

This is one of my favs. I just love the detail and the work put into it. Hmm just looking at the details and colours just make it inspirational. Makes you want to try to make some pixel work.

:iconclefairykid: Who are your favourite Pixel Artists? What is it you like about them?

:iconzerudez: I have so many favorites :XD: I look up to Adkage, staticwind, liIlet, and ichigo-tan I just love their pixel works so much! They give me inspiration. The details and the colours make it so inspirational.

:iconclefairykid: Are there any myths in Pixel Art that you've come across? Things that you thought were myths but turned out to be true?

:iconzerudez: I don't think I've come across any myths when it comes to pixel art.

:iconclefairykid: Do you think that Pixel Art is a respected medium in it's own right? Why and why not?

:iconzerudez: Yes. Pixel artists put so much of their time and effort to create their pixel artworks, especially big pieces which could take maybe days and I gotta give props to those who do. They end up with beautiful masterpieces. Pixel art in its way is    respected in the art community because I think everybody enjoys looking at it. Like pixel art was used in many of the classic games we used to play so I don't see why not you should like them.

:iconclefairykid: What advice would you give to those who are interested in starting out in Pixel Art?

:iconzerudez: It helps to study and practice. Experiment with your styles.

:iconclefairykid: Share your proudest pixel piece with us! What makes you so proud of it in particular?

:iconzerudez: So far I looove this one.

The details in this! I am so proud of it! I never thought I could put so much detail and it turned out wonderful and I just love it!

:iconclefairykid: What are your goals in Pixel Art? Is it just for fun or do you aim to master particular styles or techniques? Any last words about Pixel Art in general?

:iconzerudez: I like to see if I can do more in pixel art, like bigger art pieces. But it's all for fun. I enjoy it a lot ^^
